Hi, I’m Nafisa! A PhD student in Population Health Sciences at Newcastle University. Through this blog, I want to share my notes and reflections on studying a PhD, what it is like being a research student in academia and tips & advice that I pick up along my journey. More so, this is a reminder to myself of the importance of self reflection and improvement. I graduated with an MPH from Newcastle University in 2019! My thesis was titled “Antenatal Depression and anxiety and early pregnancy BMI among White British and South Asian women: retrospective analysis of data from the Born in Bradford Cohort”
BSc Biomedical Science with Global Health
I did my undergraduate degree from Imperial College London!
